Shawn has actively been developing his craft in brass & woodwind repair and restorations for over 25 years. He is passionate about being a critical link between the player and the instrument. Shawn is a master at diagnosis, quick triage, and fine professional woodwind overhauls. He is also a Muramatsu-certified flute technician.

Matt Wakefield
Woodwind Technician
Matt can help you with all your woodwind needs. A graduate of the Renton Technical College instrument repair program, he has been repairing flutes, clarinets, and saxophones full-time for 10 years. His workbench is as tidy as his hair and he is a go-to for quick turnaround repairs.

Jonathan Reimann
Luthier/Brass Technician
Jonathan has dedicated over 25 years to his craft. His journey began at the National Guitar Factory, where he developed his skills before moving to Chicago to study orchestral string repair and bow making. After spending several years working as a luthier in the Fine Arts Building, he relocated to the Bay Area, where he apprenticed in brass repair to further enhance his meticulous skill set. Jonathan feels a genuine commitment and responsibility to take good care of your instrument. Because if he doesn't, it will keep him up at night.

Lucas Clarvoe
Brass Technician
In addition to brass repair, Lucas is a trumpet player. He graduated from Berkeley High and Berklee College of Music. Lucas can point you toward the right mouthpiece and answer a lot of brass-related questions. He can even fill in for your big band when needed.

Sarah Benjaram
Manager
Try talking to Sarah first. She can get your project on the calendar, set you up with a rental, solve problems around billing, and answer general questions. With her help, the technicians can be freed up to focus on repair work.
